2009 reading list

I know I’m a bit late with any kind of a “2009 in summary” post, but it just occurred to me to do this. Early in 2009, I decided to start reading my way through a Top 100 Novels of the 20th Century. There are a number of these available on the internet. The one I chose to follow was this one:

The Physics of Sailing Explained 2003 Byron D. Anderson I received this for Christmas 2009.
Godforsaken Sea: Racing the World’s Most Dangerous Waters 1998 Derek Lundy An account of the harrowing 1996 Vendee Globe round the world single-handed sailing race.
Sailing Alone Around the World 1899 Joshua Slocum I started this in later December 2009, but I haven’t finished it yet. It’s an account of Slocum’s single-handed global circumnavigation aboard the sloop Spray. Slocum was the first person to sail around the world alone.
